Explore outdoor lighting for gardens, patios, pathways and entrances. Choose from wall and ceiling lights, bollards, solar lights and LED floodlights to suit your space.
Plan outdoor lighting around entrances, seating areas and garden paths. Use outdoor wall lights beside doors or terraces, and explore bollards and beacons for pathways. Compare brightness, light direction and each fitting’s suitability for its intended position.
There is no single lumen figure for every outdoor space. Gentle path and patio lighting needs less output than lighting a large driveway. Compare lumens alongside beam angle, mounting height and the area to be lit; several well-placed lights can provide more even coverage than one very bright fitting.
IP44 protects against water splashes, while IP65 provides dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets. Choose according to the fitting’s position and exposure, following the manufacturer’s installation guidance. IP65 does not mean suitable for submersion, and an IP rating alone does not confirm resistance to coastal corrosion.
Solar lights may still charge in cloudy weather, but reduced sunlight generally means less energy stored and shorter lighting time. Persistent shade can limit performance. Place the panel in the sunniest suitable position and check the model’s charging requirements before choosing it for a shaded garden.
